Some have many, others have only one, and some may have none, but if you have some fav movie scenes let us know about it.
I have many memorable moments but unfortunately most of them are locked up in the back of my mind and only occasionally come out to play. Another thread on this forum has released this memory:
I enjoyed the scene in “50 first dates” where Adam Sandler stages his own assault with Rob Schneider so he can be “rescued” by Drew Barrymore. The resulting attack on Schneider by Barrymore is one of the funniest moments I have enjoyed in a cinema in recent times ...maybe I was just in a good mood and dropped my defensives a little, but I remember it as being a very enjoyable moment for me.
I know this scene is similar to a staged assault scene in Mr Deeds, again with Sandler, but I didn’t see Mr Deeds as I am not a Sandler fan and I only went to see Dates because my daughter wanted to see it, and this scene sticks out.

I'd have to say I have several but the one that comes to mind right now is from 'Liar Liar' when Jim Carey is in the courthouse toilets beating himself to a bloody pulp. That is so funny. Also one scene in the English movie 'Johnny English' with Rowan Atkinson. In a room there is an agent and a bad guy who have been drugged and they cannot speak clearly because of the drug. Johnny asks them questions and they answer but they are incoherant. I laughed and laughed. You had to 'be there'. Sometimes sight gags can be so so funny, words not even required. |

I don't really have to think hard for this one. My favourite movie scene of all time is Debra Winger's death bed scene in Terms Of Endearment. I've seen it twice in the past year or so, and everytime Debra Winger (Emma Greenway) passes away, and Shirley MacLaine (her mother Aurora Greenway) watches her, it takes my breathe away and reduces me to deep sobs of sadness. What makes the scene even more poignant is that Emma's estranged husband (Jeff Daniels) is fast asleep when it happens, whilst her meddling mother - her true soulmate - is there to witness her final seconds of life. Such an honest, beautifully crafted flim, with touches of real humour throughout. If you haven't seen it yet fearing it's just another chickflick - do it this weekend. It will blow you away. |

Have to love the end of 'stayin' alive' (the bit they take off on simpsons).
"You know what I wanna do?.....strut."
Only saw it for first time recently, but theres something about John Travolta struting to the bee gees - stayin' alive, that is just timeless. |

Hmmm...most of my meorable moments are tear jerkers...like the end of Beaches when Barbara Hershey's character dies or Steel Magnolias when Julia Roberts character dies. All sad and I'm absolutely hopeless with these kind of movies! My husband just laughs at me! |
| Yesterday while on the stairs, I saw a Man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today...I wish that He would go away!! |

In Ghost where he sits with her while she is at her potters wheel. Gets me everytime. Also, the bit at the end of 'Sixth Sense' where it hits Bruce Willis like a tonne of bricks when his wife/widow drops his wedding ring and he realises he is dead. OMG I gasped and bawled in the cinema. In 'Field of Dreams' when Kevin Costner throws the baseball to his 'dead' dad and they talk ... now I have tears just thinking about it. |

Demi & Bruce! Favourites of mine too. I like the suspense of the latter more than the former but both are equally good movies.

Jean-Claude Van Damme in a movie that escapes me at the moment.
Jean is a policeman talking to another policeman, very serious moment. Jean walks away and steps off his equaliser platform and is suddenly 6 inches shorter than the person he was just talking to. This was hilarious!

Most of the best moments are all sci fi, however the best of my best is when Susan (can't remember the actresses name) calls out to her father, Benjamin (Mel Gibson) as he & Gabriel (Heath Ledger) are riding away along the beach on the way back to the civil war. |

In “Anita and me” when Meena (Chandeep Uppal) is asked to sing in front of the family and she gets up and sings “Gimmie Dat Ding”
This scene alone put me in a good mood for the rest of the day and I was still singing “Gimmie dat” weeks later.
Dammmn, here I go again ...gimmie dat, gimmie dat, gimme dat ding ….

In the movie 'Dude, where's my car' when they pull up at the Chinese Drive through and Ashton Kutcher gives his order and the chinese voice on the other end of the Intercom says... 'And then' so he adds something else, and she repeats 'And then' he says 'no, that's it' and she continues getting more insistent as she goes along... "and then, and then, and then and then'.... I think that was hilarious. |

I love Aurora's line when upon her daughters death she says.... "I'm so stupid, so stupid. Somehow, I thought, somehow I thought when she finally went that - that it would be a relief. Oh, my sweet little darling. Oh dear, there's nothing harder." That line is so profound and something we all fall victim to. I wont describe the scene in detail because it's only just come out on DVD this week and some may not have seen it... but when you do, the final scene from Code 46 and the short sentence said when the screen fades to black. Now for something lighter... I love the scene in Matrix where Keanu is in the hallway with the bullets being fired at him and he realises then just who he is.... holds the bullets at bay and you see him wonder at his ability, as if he had all the time in the world and wasn't the least bit concerned about being attacked. Loved that! |

Being a huge Star Trek (Original series) fan, my most memorable moment occurs in Star Trek II, The Wrath of Khan when Kirk, Saavik and McCoy have returned from the Genesis cave and are heading for the bridge. Spock is with them, explaining the condition of the damaged Enterprise.
Kirk: (referring to Dr. David Marcus) That man is my son... Spock: Fascinating.
It's not so much what he says, as how he says it. |

I don't have a particular moment in any movie, but one movie that really scared me was Hide And Seek. I saw it at the movies with my dad at 9pm one night and we were the only people in the cinema! When i watch it again, it isn't scary but the atmosphere at the movies was. |
