yes I think so, SuziH. It was such rough surf that it kept getting washed back on the beach, so I had my brother-in-law take it out further into the ocean. Later I rang the Turtle Monitoring Group, and learned that they had relocated the nest last year, further up the sand bank (I wondered how the mother turtle had got up there...) I went back several times, but didn't see any others, though there were tiny tracks across the sand. This was so close to the surf club and not at the deserted end of the beach, which surprised me.
