I love Tony. I don't think I ever said I didn't like him. Yes, he's annoying but that was only around Kate at times. It was a funny annoying not a pain in the neck annoying. I loved the guy who plays Tony when he was a wheel chair bound man in Dark Angel. I don't label people, especially men. I think terms like SNAG, Metro Sexual, New Age Man, Macho etc etc are thrown about with gay abandon. I also don't like to use the term Femininist and PC. Just talk in regular terms and not label others. Tony is a funny guy, a little annoying and painful at times but he's a bloke... should I say man!
This is my first post on this forum so i apologize in advance for all my spelling mistakes. (I hate writting)
I love NCIS. It is the best show. I cannot believe how hooked i have become on that show. It's a bit sad actually.
I got hooked on the show when Bete Noire first aired. Before that i watched every episode and it was a how i would never miss but once that episode aired it changed everything. I love the Ari character, he is so mysterious, not too mention hot and i have become hooked on the show because of him. I have to say though due to Twilight it is becomming a bit more harder to justify my reasons for liking him. We saw in Bete Noire Kate make a mistake in not stabbing him which would turn out fatal for her a year and a bit later. And also Gibbs obbession with getting him. I almost lost my mind for the six weeks waiting for Revielle (season 1 finale) and of course channel 10 had to mess with it a bit. I enjoyed so much Gibbs looking at his screen in the lead up to Revielle trying to figure out who he is and Kate looking very uncomfortable watching Gibbs.
And then finally Revielle aired. Best NCIS episode in my opinion. I was so sure they were going to kill him off but then they dropped in the bombshell that he was actually a Mossad double agent. . Though it did explain Bete Noire very well in my mind. And in my mind that had created a one of a kind continuing storyline.
Also in my opinion it was the first show that didn't bomb itself. I am talking about something happening mid season and then we have to wait till the season finale for it to be explained. Revielle was perfect, i was way off on what i thought would have happend and it was just perfect in my opinion. I am comparing it to shows like 24, for example 24 has in my opinion bombed its last two season finales. The build and build to the finale and then they end it really badly. But NCIS didn't follow that path.
The season we just saw we saw little bits and pieces of Ari through the season. I love it how they didn't go crazy with it, it was just little sentences about him. Very subtle and yet very effective. Though Kate's little declaring she is over him in the Good Wives Club (ep 2) didn't work well for me. She still liked him.
Kate: "Classic stockholm syndrome. She developed an emtional bond to her captor, it will take her time, but she will recover"
And then finally Twilight aired. If i had known it would be a year till we saw him again i would have lost my mind. And of course channel 10 decided to mess with it again. Delaying the last few episodes by i think 2 months.
I am still confused about twilight alot. It doesn't sit well for me. I hope the new season explains it. (I am avoiding all spoiler, well actually i am struggling to avoid all spoilers but i don't want the new season ruined). I find it confusing Ari killed Kate. He really liked her, it was obvious. Too me it would have been more realistic him killing Gibbs, or even Tony if someone had to go. But Kate? I think the only reason it happend is Sascha wanted to go. Also i am struggling to come to terms with Ari being an AlQead agent. We have to think of the bigger picture here if its true. He would have had to double cross so many people to do this that it just doesn't make sense. And we cannot forget Bete Noire, were even Kate says he didn't behave like a normal terrorist and Reveille were he saved Bush and Sharon's life.
My thoughts on Kate's death.- Well i had no idea who would die because i never saw a spoiler but i guessed it would be Kate. Especially after learning Ari would be back. I though he would kill her accidently. But not this. When it happend i just sat there, i didn't even move. I was in so much shock. I am still speechless. WOW. What a mean death. And i am still confused about Ari's choice of victim. I have a few theories, non of which do i have any idea how accurate they are. I would love to discuss this if you guys are interested.
One more thing, i find it fustrating that channel 10 choose to air Revielle a few weeks after Twilight. Revielle was the last re-run it had to air of season one and i would have found it more effective if they aired it a week before Twilight. All my friends began watching it this season so they have no idea why i love Ari and why i am struggling to come to terms with his reaction.
Oh and one more thing. How fustrating is it that channel ten decided to air the finale after all the days it could have picked on the same day as America showed the season premier. That meant that once again i could not go on any American sites and forums because of a risk of seeing a spoiler. I would have loved to discuss it when they also had no idea what heppend.
Oh look at me rambling on. I am so confused. But no spoilers for me. It looks to good to be ruined. I am counting down the days till it returns in Febuary. I am so glad it was one of the highest ranking shows of the year. And i love Ari and i can't wait to see what happens next season.

One more thing guys. I have made a NCIS group on Yahoo and would love for you all to join. Its very new and i am slowly building it. But if a few more people join i would spend stacks more time on it.
Have to admit in the beginning i didn't like it that much but it rapidly improved till it became must see tv,esp the excellent 2nd season.
Love all the characters esp tony & 'probie',love the interplay between them
And RE kate i did like her but found her a little irritating and if someone had to go...
However she was integral to the shows chemistry and im scared s3 may lose the vital humour.The 1st few eps esp will be ex depressing. Should have had her go back to her old job or something.

<Yup yet another NCIS fanatic!> An understatement. But i will take it. I am nuts for this show. 24 was my faviourte show until NCIS came along.
I find it funny everyone found her irratating. I loved her. She wasn't like them. She reminds me in a way of McGee. McGee has to learn how to put up with Tony and his jokes so did she. Me and mum were watching the re-runs and we both agreed that we can't picture the show without her. Oh Kate.
She should have gone back to her old jod- . I like that. I would have liked it if she and Ari got together. Now i know i am pushing that storyline a bit, but i just could see it happening. They looked so good togther. I cannot wait to see everyone's reaction to her death, especially Gibbs's. Oh man, i would be so mad at myself considering that he could have killed him so many times. So could have Kate.
Have you seen any spoilers about the new season or are you like me and staying away from them? . I am crossing my fingers he lives. I'm not liking his chamces though. But Ari has pulled a few whoppers in the past. I will be devestaed if he dies. . I love his character and what he brings to the show. I want him TO LIVE!!!!!!!!!
Channel 10 better hurry up with this show. My tapes are wearing out. Does anyone know when the preview for the new season will be shown? I need to see it. And i hope channel 10 doesn't give away what happens in its ads. They did if for Twilight, thank god i missed it.

Personally i think they'll keep his character alive to drag it out & keep gibbs extra pissed As though he needs it Kate was ok & the perfect foil for tony The show will be different but i hope it regains the humour after the tragic death of a key character.
Hey there, I really love this show! Its got great detective work aswell as being funny and entertaining not so dark and gloomy all the time like other crime shows... I almost cried when Kate was shot! It was sooo horrible! I dont think NCIS will ever be the same ...
I liked Kate, most of the time but one person doth not a TV show make! I don't think I will even miss her. I love the other characters in this show so much. Mark Harmon was always a favorite of mine. Before Kevin Costner came along and rained on Mark's parade, Mark was headed for BIG things. After watching Dark Angel TV series all the way through I have more understanding of Tony's character. Other than Gibb's though my two favorite characters are Abby (Pauley Perrette) and Ducky (David McCallum). I can't wait for the next series to begin.

You think they will keep him on? YAY! I hope its true. I think they would be crazy to kill him off. Killing Kate and then him- i think the show needs him to continue. Have some sort of running storyline which is saved for like the season finales. - You right his character is prefect in keeping Gibbs mad. Oh i love that, one of the best parts of the show. I am hopping they don't ruin his character because it has so much potential. I hope he lives.

OMG......... I actually cried. I was in such shock, i didn't sleep the whole night. The death was indeed bad, i never saw it comming. Oh i can't wait for this new season. I hope they can survive (ratings) without her. Well actually they are, just last week they came second in the ratings after CSI. I find it confusing that when the show is back on in Febuary it will be on at the same time as CSI. Channel 10 must have alot of confidence in the show, which in my opinion they are right to have. Its doing so well. I'm more worried about Lauren Holly's character, i don't want the show turned into a romance between her and Gibbs. I love it just the way it was. Why did Sascha have to quit?

Yeah - I wont be back this year - ruined the show as far as I am concerned.
Oh don't say that till the premier airs. In America last week they aired a re-run of the premier and it came second in the ratings. And all my American friends on the net say it is the best episode of NCIS ever. So give it a go, you don't have anything to lose.

Oh i am so glad there is only 48 days to go to the premier. I am actually counting the days. I don't know how i am going to survive 48 days without cracking and going to a spoiler. But i must remind myself that it is to good to be ruined.
