Yeah I am still testing this one guys. My theory is that it is only going to the bottom of the thread when it has new activity since your last login. Testing testing.. |

I haven't been here in quite some time, so sorry if these have already been posted, but one is that if it's possible to have the page rendered dynamically for the screensize, be it a widescreen or older 4:3 monitor, the way vbulletin software does for example.
The other thing is that I always bump up the minimum font size in browsers so I don't go blind at some future date trying to read tiny text. It's hard enough trying to find my penis sometimes. Most of the time it doesn't interfere with a page. Sometimes it screws something up but for the most it's minimal. On this site where it says the number of pages, each one being a hyperlink and for example on this page it looks like this sort of: 58 pages << ... 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 and it continues on to 58 then ther's one that says All With font sizes at a comfortable, not small either, level this makes the page numbers overlap the 'Recomend Thread' and 'Watch Thread' links. The Reccomend Thread and Watch Thread links are what the mouse highlights, so to go a page back I'de have to subtract 15 in the url in the address bar of the browser because I wouldn't be able to click on it. I know that I don't come here much, but perhaps having 20 pages available is a bit excessive anyway. If you plan on doing a style sheet thing that it would fill the screen, then it wouldn't matter on my monitor but maybe for other people using older monitors and adjusting font sizes it still would. 16 pages or less would solve it in my particular case and that would be in addition to <<< ... and All so that's 4 boxes of pages, to be clear. I'de recommend 12 pages avalaible on the screen in addition to << ... and All Perhaps 10 pages being the last 10 like 48 through 58, then one for 38 and one for 28 or something. |

Thanks all for the recent feedback. I have made notes of absolutely everything. Some are 'can-do' and others I will have to investigate as they may affect another element of the system. But thanks again and keep the feedback coming.

Maybe a paragraph break would have cleaned that one up. I got a good laugh nonetheless |

Hi Glen, how are you? I tried to use a [ hide] tag, firefox, and got the message "MeanDean, you must participate in this topic to view this text" or something like that. It was in a thread where it wasn't my first post, although it has been ages since I posted in it. Also, it should have worked once my post was submitted. Here's an example, the following should say "The salami", because old cheesy jokes are still worthwhile just for the sake of it, but when I post it Im guessing it will tell me I need to participate in the thread to view it when I click on the button. Edit: Yep, same thing, It tells me I have to participate in order to see it when I click the button to unhide it. |
