The Singing Bee

I wonder if TEN will produce the copy-cat program that Fox has produced in The US. It is as popular as The Singing Bee and has a better name (Don't Forget The Lyrics).

Also, as previously posted House, Life and Californication will be shown on TEN as they air in the US in about a 2 months time. I also read in todays TV Week that TEN will also be showing Back To You later this year (its a sitcom with Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton as warring TV news anchors) which surprised me, are TEN going to have anything left for next year .

"Don't Forget The Lyrics?" "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?" "So You Think You Can Dance?" Real creative.

Lord knows that if Fox had the rights to Neighbours that they'd rename it to "People that live next to each other."

Interesting little story I noticed in today's (21 August 2007) Herald-Sun (Melbourne) newspaper - it states that from next 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' will return, with Eddie McGuire in the 7pm time slot replacing 'Temptation'. It also states 'Temptation' is not axed and will return next year. My guess is the 5.30pm time slot.

My personal opinion is this is a bad move - I think shows like 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire'  and '1 V 100' should have a limited run, for example 10 to 12 weeks each. To have both running for the entire ratings period is a bit too much.

It changes so often it's kind of hard to keep up.

It used to be The Wedge, but TEN scrapped it due to poor ratings. And last week they played Happy Gilmore but the ratings for that weren't too great either.

According to the ebroadcast guide it's the same episode both nights "the Coup" although it is a good episode.

The Wedge is probably taking a break so Ian McFadyen can record new laughter tracks, because quite frankly he's the only one laughing
