Well, it's either Oprah or an hour of Simpsons repeats. (Speaking of which, Ten has really cut down on the Simpsons repeats lately, which is a good thing) |

I'd prefer simpsons. Remember also that 7:30 Wednesday is often used as 10's "special reality hour (and twenty minutes)" |

I know, but what else could they air at 7.30pm that hasn't been repeated to death? (I'm still hoping for a miracle that Ten would buy KotH from Seven)
Will Ten be playing Smallville throughout the ratings period? And if so what'll replace it on Friday nights once we catch up to the US? |

I think Friday Night Games is coming back, but maybe only because Win Ten is still playing lame old "sponsor fillers" with old IDs. Friday Night Live is there too. |

I think they would have advertised FNG by now if it was comming back, maybe they are running out of ideas and 'celebrities' to take part. But you never know with TEN, they either advertise things for months before they begin (eg. Idol, Tench) or hardly at all. |

Hey, isn't that an insult to all of us of low intellectual capacity? Oh yeah, never mind, we all know Australian Television Programming is an embarrassing insult to ALL humanity

If you think Australian programming is bad, then you need to get out more lol. And by that, I mean overseas. |

It's not my thought...it's an obvious overall fact! Certainly Australia TV Programming surpasses South Africa, Banglidesh or Ethiopia but Germany, France & even Hawa!! has programming. I've endured six years in Australia but lived 51 others with better television programming 'overseas'. Our vacation to Las Vegas for a month [in 9 days ] will refamiliarize us how exceptionally poor 20million compare with 300million. You shouldn't be offended, merely aware that 'overseas' viewers are simply not assaulted with such incompetent, tardy, irregular programming schedules & aren't victim to technical issues of the punchlines being stomped on by an extra 10 second spot of mindless political announcements, public service announcements, funeral ads, & purely offensive, attention grabbing dismembered bodyparts. No amount of finesse will be available in Australia til it 'grows up' & grows out of the insane worship of sport & learns how to read a watch.

I'd agree that we're no worse than the UK. In fact, marginally better. |
