Was just wondering. Anybody else out there, besides me, think the new Merrick and Rosso is crap and nowhere near as good as they were on channel nine? I watched the first ep a couple weeks ago and didn't laugh once. Not funny, guys.

Yes.  Agree with you entirely.  I didn't get to crack a smile let alone laugh!

I love Merrick and Rosso but their strength is in their quick witt which is evident on their radio show. The bad thing about this tv show is they have created characters that are just too over the top to get into. And they're recurring characters which makes in uncompelling to watch again the next week.

I like their one-off skits like the kebab in a can skit from their old show, and when they make fun of a well known person/ celebrity.

As much as I would love for this show to succeed it's just not as catchy as their previous show.

Almost the same kind of humour as they use on Comedy Inc.

I have one word to say about this show: CANCELLED!

In our house we would never have dreamed of missing one episode of these guy's last series BUT we watched one episode of this series and then I taped the next, which we have yet to watch, and another week has passed and we have not bothered. I liked a couple of bits of that first episode but it doesn't come anywhere near as good as the original series that was with a live audience and so unpredictable. Now they just have clips of them being Yobbo Aussie Males. Shame shame shame Merrick & Rosso.

I agree that they were never that funny in the first place, the skits aren't that great but is better than seeing them make fun of an audience that had nothing better to do than see a mind numbingly boring show being taped, they should stick to radio.

What the TV producers should do is take off all the Australian crappy comedy and only air American and British Comedies. Good Funny stuff...

None of these idiots like Russell Coight, Merrick and Rosso or Ronnie Johns are even funny... Their comedy is so bad, it isn't just scraping the bottom of the barrel... there sadly enough is no bottom to that barrel. Their comedy is so vulgar it's sickening, and if these people are considered as celebrities, then their is something wrong with Australia.

I loved their first 2 series ... when they just spontaneously interacted with the audience.  But even then, the skits were mostly just silly.

As for this season's show ... its just crap, plain and simple.  Anyone who doesn't know them from other venues and formats will say "huh?????" who are these idiots?

Their *work* on the ARIA's is pretty shocking as well! Rove did a better job with it....

He's not bad.... fairly funny at times, just plain stupid at others, but seeing as he is probably the only funny australian person in australia... I'll let him have it.
