The first gentleman you mention, he was the star of a brilliant series before his appearance on 24, The Sentinel.

& I think you may remember Doug Savant from a previous little series that he was in, Melrose Place.

it's hardly the actor's fault, she is not exactly the writer.  Although, they did put her in some insipid situations

I am looking forward to this next series of 24.  With Jack on the run.  Maybe he will be pardoned or something.  

I don't recall ever seeing an unrealistic story line on 24. I don't know what all the fuss is about.

As an aside.. did everybody see that Arrested Development is going to be back with new episodes? Yipppeee

I can't see that being true because it is still far too long before they finish and we'd be way behind the US. I see 24 coming on after Air Crash Investigation is over, therefore it will follow Prison Break. Two intense shows on one night! That'd be gr8.

You guys have no idea what your in for! 24 is back and definitely at its best. I have seen up to episode 13 and this season has so far surpassed the second, third, and fourth and is a rival to the brilliant first season. Believe me, I had doubts about a fifth season but it has an incredibly different feel to it. Much, much darker!

As for when Seven will be showing it, 24 will return around July-August this year. My guess is it will return to Mondays or Wednesdays.

Yeah I'm sure the majority of 24 fans have also downloaded series 5. Some even downloading it as soon as it is available on Monday (or is that Tuesday) night.

It's not much darker than the previous series. It's the same. Storyline is great though. Without giving away too much, some of the things that have happened so far (asides from with David) have happened in previous series.

Can anyone enlighten me to what the fascination is about starting new threads about 24 including the new series? A very popular thread was started on September 24th last year. Twice since, people have begun new threads on 24. This one makes the third time. It is easy to search to make sure a thread does not already exist.
