This is a different look for her

X-Files star Gillian Anderson has all but declared this her final season on the show, telling Access Hollywood the equivalent of, “I got your alien abduction right here.” After six seasons as David Duchovny’s sidekick, the actress says that she is exhausted. "Physically, psychologically, I don't think I could do another season," she told the TV tabloid. "I'm just spent.”
Now that she has made more money than most of us will make in several lifetimes, the Emmy and Golden Globe award winning actress would probably prefer a less vigorous career in film. Although her roles in The Mighty and Playing by Heart have been pretty forgettable, she can probably still look forward to several X-Files sequels to add some scratch to the coffers.
The X-Files' new, and possibly last season, starts it's American run on November 7, and will air here on Network Ten next year.
