Woody Harrelson is a free man after standing trial on marijuana charges.

The former Cheers actor turned hemp crusader was found not guilty of a marijuana possession charge stemming from his ceremonious planting of four hemp seeds in Kentucky, four years ago.

Harrelson first began his clash with authorities in 1996, claiming the laws were unjust as they didn't differentiate between marijuana and hemp, which can be used to make both paper and cloth.
