Those in the United States who watched last night’s season premiere of Will & Grace might have noticed that a controversial remark, where Karen refers to her Salvadoran maid Rosario as a “tamale,” was clipped from the episode. Instead, the epithet was dubbed over with the word "honey."
The edit was prompted by protest from the Latino group La Raza, which coordinated the current brownout of the big four networks for the lack of Hispanic representation on television.
