The new family show, Bush Telegraph airing next week on the Seven Network, is causing some laughter at the Melbourne office of Seven.

It seems that Peter Meekin, Nine's news and current affairs director, told Media Week that his network will launch a rural based program, but "we don't want to say any more because the copycats at Epping (Seven's national headquarters) copy everything we do."

That's quite interesting as Seven commissioned Bush Telegraph last Christmas and it's been filming around Australia since February.

In all fairness, I think Seven should be leveling the charges at Nine.
