Finally!
After the huge success of ‘Tales of the City’ and ‘More Tales of the City’ (including five Emmy nominations), Showtime has finally given the go ahead for the third instalment of Armistead Maupin’s addictive novels.
‘Further Tales of the City’ begins shooting soon in Montreal with a budget of approximately US $7.5 million.
American cable network Showtime aired the much applauded second series after PBS passed on the sequel, giving into the Right Wing Political pressure over the oh so controversial same sex content.
The third series reunites us once again with everyone’s favourite heroine, Mary Ann Singleton (the perfectly cast Laura Linney) and the magical Mrs Madrigal (Olympia Dukakis).
