It's hard to say how many people actually watched WWF RAW last Monday night. If you figure three people per tuned-in television, respectively, then over 18 million rowdies sat down to watch what is quickly becoming America's favorite pastime.
Breaking its all-time ratings record with a 6.4 national rating (8.1 cable ratings), WWF RAW launched the USA Network into fourth place in the race to see who can get the most eyeballs on their channel from 9 to 11pm. That's pretty amazing considering USA is seen in only 76 percent of the country.
For those who don't know or spend your Mondays drunk (Dad, I know you're reading), TNT usually broadcast their own (some say "wussy") version of tangling called Monday Nitro. However, last Monday, much to their chagrin, they chose to air a Knick vs. Heat playoff game, which only scored a measly 1.0 rating.
The WWF may not be more popular that Jesus, but they're just over 6 times more popular than Basketball.
