They still came third, and there was no Marty in sight, yet Channel Ten achieved one of it's most pleasing ratings weeks so far this year.
Tracey Spicer's Ten News At Five hit the number one position in this week's Oztam ratings. This was no doubt achieved by the double whammy of a huge news day (the Bali bombings) and the popularity of the tv show preceding - 2002 V8 Supercars Championship (which claimed the number 17th spot for Ten).
Infact, Ten got 5 tv shows in the Top 20. Sports Tonight achieved it's best results in years with 1.6 million viewers. Later that night, All Aussie Adventures pulled 1.5 million viewers to gain the number 15 spot.
And what caused this super Sunday night ratings bonanza for Ten? Little ole' V8 Supercars Championship that played on Sunday arvo.
