Do you think that Sam Newman’s appeal is starting to wane? The reason I’m asking is that Sam was booked to appear at the Sandringham Yacht Club restaurant for a sportsman’s night, but the evening has been cancelled because of lack of interest.
Gourmet Indulgence, the Sandringham restaurant, was to cater the affair and displayed a notice in their window explaining what happened.
The note read: “A sportsman’s night with Sam Newman and friends has been cancelled because there were not enough takers to cover the $9,200 appearance fee sought.”
