Home Improvement’s Tim Allen dropped out of a race at Laguna Seca Raceway Friday after complaining of intense stomach pain. The actor was whisked to Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula for an emergency surgery appendectomy.
"Tim was complaining about not feeling well during qualifying," said business partner, Steve Saleen. "He's convinced he would have gotten the pole if it wasn't for the appendicitis."
Doctors released the Tool Man on Monday.
