You may remember my article on Glenn Taylor's sacking on April Fools Day
(April 1) this year, after he made a certain remark that lead to his
sacking. Well, now he is co-hosting a series of shows for the Gold Coast
population called oddly enough "On The Gold Coast".
In the show he visits sponsored businesses and tries to sell their products to the viewer. Yes, it is a bit like Good Morning Australia, but instead of exercise bikes they sell boats and cars. In my opinion, this was a very big demotion from what
he was doing previously to presenting a dressed up infotainment program.
Well, let's just hope it's a stepping stone to something bigger. "On The
Gold Coast" screens on NBN (Nine, 10:00am Saturday). Please
note again, this is only shown to Gold Coast residents.
