Da Doo Don Don Don, Da Doo Don Don

In the States, the USA network and former teen idol Shaun Cassidy are teaming up to bring viewers a one-hour mob series based on a true story about a family working undercover for the FBI. Unfortunately the show won’t be titled Da Do Run Run This. Instead Cassidy, who will serve as executive producer and writer, chose the less appealing title Just Act Normal for his new program.

USA must be more impressed than we are. The network has already ordered 13 episodes of the series, which starts shooting next week. Peter Dobson (Norma Jean and Marilyn) will play the role of the undercover FBI agent who drags his wife, Barbara (Melora Hardin), and their three children into his assignment to infiltrate the mob.

Look for Just Act Normal to show up in the States early 2000 (no Australian network has yet picked it up).
