Three American sitcoms will be making their Australian
television premieres on the Nine Network in July, along with the
blockbuster mini-series, “Odyssey” and the Australian
telemovie “One Way Ticket.” This is in addition to the
return of new series of “This Is Your Life” and
“Animal Hospital.” (See below for sitcom descriptions.)
Sporting fans can expect plenty of action through July with the
finals from Wimbledon, the “British Open Golf
Championship” from Royal Troon Golf Course in Scotland and
the “Fourth Ashes Cricket Test” between Australia and
England from Headingley. “Kids,” “The World’s
Dumbest Criminals,” “Real TV,” “Moment of
Truth,” a 90 minute special of “Burke’s Backyard
In Mexico” and the season finale of “ER” rounds
out the network’s hot July.
