For the McCourt boys of Limerick, Ireland, it took good humour, faith, hope and the selfless love of a good mother.

Inspired by ‘Angela’s Ashes’, his Uncle Frank’s bestseller, Conor McCourt brings together the four brothers – Frank, Alphie, Michael and Malachy (Conor’s father) in an inspirational hour of reminiscence about growing up in the lanes of Limerick.

The McCourts of Limerick, which screens on the ABC on Sunday June 18, was originally created for family and friends then later re-edited for broadcast.
