After six years of sword-swinging, medieval cult hero Lucy Lawless is hanging up her armour.

Her television show, Xena: Warrior Princess, will finish it's six year run at the end of this season, leaving the rights to the show's repeats a rather hot commodity.

The 32 year old mother of two has recently been hitting the US talk show circuit to discuss her future in regards to her career, although nothing has been confirmed to date.

The show, a ratings winner from the start, is shown in well over one hundred countries.
