Based on the AC Nielsen's Panorama survey, Ten is on top in its competence to attract TV viewers who spend proportionately more time on the Internet compared to the rest of the population.
Ten's network sales development manager Brian Gallagher said in mid-December 1999 that the Ten network dominates when one looks at the number of Internet users watching television.
Australia's three commercial TV stations are putting their best spin on AC Nielsen's audience numbers. This is for the yearly negotiations for their TV advertising rate. The Ten network is quite excited as one of its main tactics is to poise itself as a cheap and effective channel for the dot.com market.
