Breakers, the twice-screened daily series on Network Ten, will cease production in July, its production company Screentime announced today.

"The program has consistantly won its timeslot over recent months but dispite Ten's continuing support, the Australian television industry generally is experiencing problems with international sales - as evident by programs such as Wildside and State Coroner - and Breakers is currently a victim of the same circumstances," says Screentime's Des Monoghan.

Production will continue to July and Breakers will be seen on-air until the end of the year.
