Ten's brightest new (?) star, Ian Molly Meldrum, is being put to good use in the next couple of weeks.

First off the rank Molly will present The Michael Hutchence Story (TEN, 8.30pm Wednesday Feb 23). The documentary contains rare footage from the early days of INXS and footage and photo's from the private world of Michael Hutchence. Interviews with Michael's publicist Mitch Schneider, actor Leif Garrett, biographer Michael Gee and television director Nile Rogers will feature.

Molly will then host Ten's coverage of the 2000 Grammy Awards (TEN, 8.30pm Friday 25 at 8.30pm). This year's awards will be held at the Staples Centre in LA and will be hosted by comedienne and talkshow host Rosie O'Donnell.

Scheduled to perform are Carlos Santana, The Backstreet Boys, TLC, Ricky Martin, Whitney Housten, Britney Spears and The Dixie Chicks.
