Ten Networks Airs Netball In PrimetimeTuesday 14 September 1999

In a bold experiment, the Ten Network announced today it will broadcast the 1999 World Netball Championships on Saturday October 2 at 6pm.
Broadcast live from Christchurch, New Zealand, the primetime coverage will be the first by a commercial network. Ten will dedicate 17 and a half hours to the championships, commencing Septmeber 23.
Commentating on the event for Network Ten will be former Australian Netball Captain, Anne Sargeant and Ten's sports presenter, Mark Aiston.
