Channel Ten has purchased the rights to Foxtel's popular talkfest Beauty and the Beast.
In what is seen as a landmark deal between free-to-air and pay-tv, the million dollar purchase will be hosted by controversial radio host Stan Zemanekwith a regular lineup of panelists including Jeannie Little, Lisa Wilkinson and Johanna Sweet.
Beauty and the Beast is tipped to air on Ten daily in the afternoon timeslot, starting next February.
The show follows the success of Channel Ten's The Panel, which has done wonders for the personality profile of the station.
