Stingers signed for third seriesTuesday 14 December 1999

The Nine Network announced today that it has commissioned a third series of the Australian drama Stingers.
Currently airing during the summer season on Saturday nights, the new series will comprise of 22 episodes and will begin production later this month to screen in 2000.
"Stingers has taken a popular genre of police drama and given it an entertaining and fresh perspective through the eyes of undercover cops," says producer Roger Le Mesurier. "I am extremely pleased with the way it has been embraced by the Australian audience."
