Sports Tonight 5.30pm Edition AnnouncedTuesday 17 August 1999

Sports fans can get an early bird dose of sport on Network Ten's new Sports Tonight weekend bulletin, at 5.30pm each Saturday and Sunday from 4th September.
Following the News at 5pm, Matthew White will host the half-hour edition of the popular late night program. The original version of Sports Tonight will still follow after the late news, hosted by Tim Webster.
There are no plans yet to extend the program structure on weekdays.
