Pacific Drive is definitely back - but only one day a week. Well, for the moment at least. As Christmas approaches, the number of episodes shown each week will increase to move to the five days a week as previously reported on Sofcom.
Filling in the gaps at Channel 7 - as of the second week of the silly season, Futurama will go to one day a week and will be joined at that timeslot with the new American comedy series, That 70's Show (a minor hit in the States, it’s described as a cross between Happy Days and The Wonder Years). As for Sunday nights, Zoe will only be on for half an hour and will be filled with the return of the final remaining episodes of Townies.
Providence goes to Wednesdays, and Tuesday nights on Seven will be a movie.
Sofcom reported earlier about 7th Heaven moving to prime time in 2000 on Network Ten. Next week on Friday night at 7:30pm, Ten will show a repeat of the third season (that’s the season just shown in the US and Australia - 1998-1999 season) kicking off with a two hour episode. No doubt they are testing the waters for 2000.
Pamela Anderson's VIP returns to Saturday nights at 8.30pm on Ten.
