Seven with re-enter the morning news market with the return of Sunrise.
Sunrise will air in the weekdays 6.00am to 7.00am timeslot, and will be hosted by Sunday Sunrise's Georgie Garner and Mark Berette, with finance reports by David Koch.
Seven says the production is being funded out of additional efficiencies identified as part of the on-going cost reduction program it is undertaking. The network cancelled the news show last year during its sweeping costs cuts.
"At 6am adult audiences are looking for the information they need as they prepare for the day ahead. We'll give them news, sport, finance and weather in a form that suits their busy lifestyles", says Seven's Director of News, Ian Cook.
