The Seven Network has axed The Chat Room.

The short-lived discussion forum starred Austereo radio personalities Tracy Bartram, Matt Tilley, Greg Fleet, Peter Berner, Amanda Keller and Jackie O.

"In this highly competitive environment, it became evident the show was going to struggle to meet our targets," Seven’s head of programming, Tim Worner, told Melbourne’s Herald Sun. "Unfortunately it simply has not attracted enough interest."

The Monday night show lasted three weeks and rated in the single figures.
