The Seven Network has won the "Docklands War" against its the rival Nine Network.
Kerry Stoke's Seven network is part of the building consortium for the new stadium and will build additional studios adjacent to the new stadiuum.
The news was greeted with a collective sigh by all in Melbourne as the Packer camp has been trying to wrest control of the game for its Nine network.
