Na na na na, Na na na na, Hey hey hey, Good-bye

Hmm, budding film career, or dead end television career? We’d probably opt for the film career too.
And it seems that’s exactly what Seth Green will do after the first six episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer this season. The pint-sized actor plans to take a mid-season hiatus from Buffy to appear in the feature film Knockaround Guys with Dennis Hopper, John Malkovich, and Vin Diesel -- and might make it a permanent vacation.
Between his voice-over work (he provides the voice for Chris Griffin on Family Guy and Nelson Nash on the cartoon Batman Beyond), his increasingly frequent movie roles (including appearances in both Austin Powers), and Buffy, the guy was probably developing a good case of schizophrenia.
Although Green’s departure is not certain, Entertainment Weekly online reports that Buffy's producers
will wait to see where the storylines go without Green before committing to bring his character back. And, as Green is under a contract, the final word is really theirs.
