* When Nicky Buckley goes on maternity leave from Sale of the
Century, Livinia Nixon will be filling in for her for one
week. Other co-hosts will apparently be viewers, as the game show will be
having a contest to see who will be "Nicky for a Night".
* What ever happened to Michael Pope, one of the original IMT cast?
He's warm up comedian and voice over man for Battle of the
Sexes.
* If Channel 10 does snare South Park, will it modify it,
like The Simpsons, to fit family viewing times? Will they
even dare advertise the episode names?
* Where do Channel 9 stars moonlight? At Crown Casino, of course. In
September, Frank Holden, Julia Morris, the Peter Morris IMT Big Band,
Dennis Walter and even Sam Newman have gigs there.
* TV relics like Patti Newton and Johnny Young are also
entertaining busloads of pensioners at Crown during September. Can Pete
Smith, Bruce Mansfield or Phillip Brady be far behind?
* Expect another episode of The Russell Gilbert Show before
the end of the year.
* Kate Langbroek probably made a big mistake recently, when she
admitted on The Panel that she once appeared topless on
Chances. Now the race is on by internet junkies to find the
footage and post it on the web.
* Does anyone actually watch State Coroner?
* The Council of Adult Education in Melbourne is actually holding classes
on TV Cop shows. The weekend course on "policiers", will be taken by
academic and actor John Flaus (Good Guys, Bad Guys) in
October.
