Jerry Seinfeld and Jessica Sklar, who married last December in a small Jewish ceremony, have become the proud parents of a baby girl, Sascha Seinfeld.

Sascha, born last Tuesday, is the first child for the A List couple who married after an affair that graced the cover of every American tabloid. The pair met at a New York gym and soon after began dating, just days after Sklar had returned from her Italian honeymoon with her first husband, Broadway heir Eric Nederlander.

According to publicist Elizabeth Clark, "both parents and baby are doing great".
