Rove gets new Tonight Show on TenThursday 11 May 2000

Ten announced today the signing of Rove McManus to produce a new show for the network.
McManus and his production company Roving Enterprises will produce a Tonight Show-style program along the lines of his previous show at Nine and Melbourne's Channel 31. He will be joined by partners in crime Peter Helliar, Corinne Grant and Dave Callan.
"It's very exciting to be on board with a network that has presented comedy of the calibre of The Panel and Good News Week - but I chose Ten mostly because it was a higher number than any of the other networks."
Rove's new program will screen later this year on Ten.
