Saying a naughty word on air has forced controversial entertainer Joan Rivers into a week of suspension from her top rating American radio show.

Rivers is no stranger to swearing on air, however the control room usually bleeps the words out. Unfortunately in this case the naughty word slipped through, due to a trainee engineer in control.

According to Rivers, "I'm not stupid, I know the rules. The station has to show they care about the license. Nevermind, it will give me some time to go the theater".
