Channel Seven Melbourne has announced that radio broadcaster Neil Mitchell will join Today Tonight as a special commentator.
The top rating Radio 3AW host, Neil will join Today Tonight on a weekly basis. Each Friday night viewers can tune in to see Neil's reports on the issues that affect the city of Melbourne.
"I am looking forward to becoming involved in such a highly professional news and current affairs program. Going on the road and talking to people in this capacity will be a great challenge and one which I look forward to immensley" said Mitchell.
Mitchell did not say whether he would be doing any super-weightloss reports.
Today Tonight's producer, Shane Castleman, made the announcement saying "We are thrilled to have such a respected and established media personality on the Today Tonight team. Neil brings a wealth of journalistic experience and knowledge."
Managing Director of Channel Seven Melbourne, Mr Rob Smithwick welcomed Neil saying: "Neil will be a valued addition to the Today Tonight team. Together we will continue to bring the news of Melbourne to the people.
