The Nine Network's highly successful medical reality series, RPB, returns on Thursday, September 18 at 9:00pm with 11 new half-hour episodes.

Since its debut in 1995, RPA has won the hearts of millions of Australians captivated by the spirit, humour, courage and hope of the people featured, whose lives became compelling prime-time viewing.

Nationally, RPA attracted an average of 2,447,000 viewers last year.

The series again follows ordinary Australians as they come and go from RPA. We see their consultations with doctors, their lives in the hands of surgeons in the operating theatre and their recoveries and relapsed, supported by friends, family and medical staff.

RPA is a Nine Network series, produced with the cooperation of patients from RPA ans staff from Central Sydney Area Health Service. The executive producer is Fiona Baker.
