Justin Pierce, the 25 year old actor who starred in the controversial 1995 film Kids, has been found dead after hanging himself in what authorities say was "clearly a suicide".

The budding actor, with ten movies to his credits, was found hanging in his room at the prestigious Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas. Pierce was in Las Vegas for a modeling shoot.

Pierce had just finished filming Pigeonholed opposite Rosanna Arquette, however he was best known for his role in Kids, the grim movie set amongst a group of New York City teenagers indulging in drug taking and unprotected sex. The film also starred Boys Don't Cry Oscar nominee Chloe Sevigny.

This is the second young actor to have hanged themselves recently in Las Vegas. Little over a year ago Suddenly Susan star David Strickland was found dead in his hotel room in the desert resort city.
