Popstars phenomenon continues ratings blitzFriday 10 March 2000 By eBroadcast Staff and agencies.
There's no stopping those girls.
Popstars (which lost one member during the week) has cemented itself as the biggest new TV sensation in the past 10 years, scoring 2.5 million viewers last Sunday.
Last week, the fly-on-the-wall talent quest came in second place, just behind Nine's trusty old sitcom Friends.
The 30 year old classic Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory had a surprise win for Nine on Saturday, placing itself into the Top 20, as did ABC's final episode of The Vicar Of Dibley.
