SBS's Insight current affairs program, launches it's new season this Thursday, 18 February at 8.00pm, featuring a live studio debate featuring Prime Minister John Howard, Wilson Tuckey,
and Peter Garrett.
Insight is presented by SBS's Vivian Schenker, her 3rd year at the helm. It has screened every Thursday night for the past three years. In that time its average weekly audience (of total people watching) in Sydney has grown by 53.66% from 41,000 viewers in 95 to 63000 at May 1998.
Nationwide the jump is even greater. In its new 8.00pm timeslot, the average audience for 1998 was 133,000 viewers. This compares with last years average audience of about 80 000 viewers, representing a growth in audience of about 65%.
