I am sick and tired of Eddie McGuire and his unashamed and flagrant bias to Crown Casino. I can understand how he uses his newspaper column to knock Seven and praise Nine; hell, he works for Nine. But is he getting the same salary from Lloyd Williams (Crown Casino for you readers who don't live in Melbourne)?
I think that Eddie was an OK sports reporter who happens to have lucked out by being picked by Harvey Silver (the real creator of "The Footy Show") to man the desk. But to keep reading and hearing his side of the story, you would think he thought the whole thing up himself.
Get a grip, Eddie. You are not the best thing since sliced bread or canned beer; in fact you are not the second best or third best; you are a lucky person who should be grateful to those who have made you who you are.
If you want to be the spokesperson for Crown Casino, good luck to you. But just know that we know what's going on and are getting real tired of your self-promotion.
And by the way, this is not the tall poppy syndrome happening here, folks. This is only being put in print what others have been saying and are saying about Eddie. I guess I'm the only one who is not afraid to put it in writing.
