Ahh, those whacky comedies. Gotta love ‘em. Especially when they involve stale ideas that probably
recycle the same jokes over, and over, and over (will it ever end?). If Matthew Perry’s previous screen credits are any indication, watching this film will be more excruciating than a solid kick to the groin.
Willis will play a hit man who moves into the suburbs under the cover of the witness protection program. Perry will play his neighbor, a dentist, whose wife wants him rubbed out. Jonathan Lynn (Trial and Error another "whacky" comedy in itself!!) will direct.
We are suddenly overcome by the lameness.
Perry will shoot Nine Yards on hiatus from the sixth season of Friends (provided he is not popping pain killers like M&M’s again). He is also writing The Shrink, a new sitcom for ABC under his deal with Warner Bros. that will most certainly stink.
We won’t be laying down our $8.00 to see Matthew Perry’s movie. We’d rather use our money
for better things, like a handle of cheap vodka, or a cab ride to the middle of no where.
