Academy Awards fever has hit Australia bigtime in 1999. Sofcom Movie Guide invites you to the LIVE Internet broadcast Monday March 22, with special guests Cloris Leachman, Karen Black and Eddie Albert, where you can ask questions and watch the behind the scenes action!

Meanwhile on the box, the Nine Network will have blanket coverage of the awards, starting with a special preview show at 5.00pm hosted by ET's Marie Patane and Richard Wilkins with a half-hour preview hosted by Geena Davis featuring the Australian stars on the red carpet for Hollywood's night of nights.

Oscar winner Whoopi Goldberg will return as host for the third year, and will be joined by presenters Liv Tyler, Nicolas Cage, Ben Affleck, Jim Carrey, Kevin Costner, Uma Thurman, Robert De Niro, Annette Bening, Jennifer Lopez, Goldie Hawn, Jack Nicholson, Steve Martin, Kim Basinger, Denzel Washington, Harrison Ford and Robin Williams.
