Daytime talk show host and American icon, Oprah Winfrey, has hit an all time low in the American ratings with her ex-number one talk show.

According to the Nielsen Syndication Ratings, Oprah was down 17 per cent compared to the same time last year. This is the lowest rating the show has earned in the past 14 years.

However, Oprah isn't the only talk show host hitting all time lows, Rosie O'Donnell was down 13 per cent from her previous year's figures.
