Oprah Winfrey, the queen of talk, is facing another legal dispute, this time by three women who claim to have been misrepresented as victims of domestic violence.
The women appeared in a pre-taped segment discussing a computer-training workshop operated by another woman who also happens to work with victims of abuse. For the interview, the three women, who have never been victims of domestic violence themselves, were taken to a nearby shelter for battered women.
When the episode aired in April of this year, the three women interviewed were wrongly presented as victims of domestic abuse.
Winfrey has refused to comment.
