On Wednesday July 30th at 7:30pm the Buckman’s little bundle of joy arrives. With special guests Carol Burnett, Carroll O’Connor, Estelle Getty, Eric Stoltz and Bruce Willis in attendance, you can be sure the birth is not your normal run-of-the-mill delivery.

The one hour special, which drew record audiences when shown in the US, is exactly what you would expect from Paul and Jamie. A series of false alarms, problems with the family documentary, old boyfriends who happen to be cab drivers, Bruce Willis admitted to the same hospital and Paul’s zany trip through the hospital’s maze of corridors and air shafts all precede the blessed event.

Two endings were filmed for the actual show; the birth of a boy and a girl. Paul Reiser then flipped a coin to decide the baby’s gender.

Nope, you have to watch the show to see. I’m not going to spoil the surprise.
