It looks like Beyond Productions will be producing a new comedy show for the Nine network which is based on the problems associated with getting the 2000 Sydney Olympics up and running.

The show is still in development but the plan is for 13 half-hour episodes to go to air next year.

The show is the creation of funny man, John Clarke, who has co-written it with Melbourne 3AW broadcaster, Ross Stevenson.

Even though Beyond executive producer, Denise Eriksen said the show has not been given the green light, insiders at Nine have all but said it's as good as signed, sealed and delivered.
